13. Bookings

You can make a booking for any available time via our Beyond Rest APP, Online via our website, or onsite with our teams through your personal Beyond Rest account.

All bookings are confirmed via email, we cannot accept a booking that is queried without email evidence of the booking being made and confirmed.

Bookings are for the 1hr session duration.

If you book a double float (two sessions back to back), you will be allocated a maximum of 2hrs in the pod from entry.

By booking a double float, you agree to accept that some peripheral noise may be heard while the team are considerately cleaning the other pod rooms nearby.

Floatworks does not accept any responsibility for a ‘lesser’ experience during a double float, due to peripheral noise complaints.

If you wish to cancel or change a booking this must be done with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. This can be done via our Floatworks APP, online via our website, or onsite with our teams through your personal Floatworks account.

15. Appointments

We encourage all first-time customers to arrive 15 minutes before their float. Experienced Floaters, we recommend at least 5 minutes before their float.

If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to refuse your entry and charge you 100% of the appointment.

16. Centre Etiquette

Once past our reception area, the centre operates as a Quiet Zone.

We require all customers to kindly remove their shoes in our reception area. This is to prevent loud walking thoughout the centre, which may disturb other Floaters.

Whilst we encourage customers to interact in our relaxation areas, please be mindful of the volume so as not to disturb others.

19. Credits Sharing

All membership account credits are fully transferable and may be shared.

The same applies to all of our packages except for the Introductory 3 Package.

The Introduction Offer is exclusive to new customers and is for individual use alone (limited to 1 purchase per customer).

18. Physical Readiness

Beyond Rest reserves the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance or are present in a state that would cause risk to themselves or others.

19. Disabled Customer Policy

You agree that by floating at Beyond Rest, as either a paying customer or a guest, you are committing to our T&Cs, agree to the policies below and that you’re liable for any repercussions resulting from the infringement of these policies.

Disability Policy:

As a team at Beyond Rest, we strive to provide the best possible experience for all of our guests, we do this through carefully building our centres and continually training our team.

We use float pods at Beyond Rest. The nature of floating in a float pod requires that an individual is alone in a float pod with the lid closed in their own room.

As service providers, we are always conscious of legal obligations under equality legislation. We aim not to just be compliant with our legal obligations but to be able to deliver an outstanding experience that meets and, where possible, exceeds the statutory requirements placed on us. As part of that commitment, we seek to ensure that disabled people are treated no less favourably than others and make reasonable adjustments where appropriate.

Our Beyond Rest Hawthorn, Perth, Collingwood and Moonee Ponds Locations has a fully accessible WC and float room for those with physical disabilities. This is the location we ask customers to attend if they are a person with a physical disability or care for a person with a physical disability. Before booking a float, please email (see point 9 for the email address) and ask for someone to call you to discuss your visit as we’ll have to make a decision on a case by case basis. This is so that we can talk through the process together with you and ensure it is completely safe for you to float either with or without a carer present and so that we can make sure our team is prepared to support your visit.

Although we may accommodate customers with some disabilities at these locations, we are focused on ensuring that we do not put any customer in a dangerous situation, and therefore we ask that anyone agrees to meet the following conditions to float without a carer:

  • you have spoken to your doctor
  • you are comfortable spending 1 hour alone, floating in 12” water
  • you are able to get dressed and undressed alone
  • you are able to open the float pod lid alone
  • you are able to climb into the pod alone
  • you are able to close the float pod lid whilst inside
  • you are able to climb out of the pod without assistance
  • you are able to press the emergency call button from the inside and outside of the pod
  • you can shower alone standing up, including entering and exiting the shower

To get in the float pod you need to be able to step over the pod ledge (approx 2ft). There are no railings to hold and the floor of the pod can be slippery. We do not have the facilities for carers or staff to provide assistance so you must be capable alone.

20. Promotional Codes and Offers

Unless otherwise stated promotions or discounts cannot be redeemed against our introductory package and memberships.

There is no cash alternative to a promo code.
